Annual Deed Update Subscription

Self managed superannuation funds are subject to legislation in both the Income Tax Assessment Act and the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act. Changes to these Acts have become very frequent over the past 10 years. With both the Cooper and Henry reviews containing recommendations for legislative change, more changes seem likely in the near future.

Keeping trust deeds in line with legislative change is essential. However, the task can be both complex and expensive. As compliance with legislative change is critical, we now offer a subscription service to clients, meaning deeds are reviewed every year and updated as required. To minimize the cost, annual updates will be done by trustee minutes. Every 5th year, a new deed will be supplied, to consolidate the changes.
